Dopo l’ottima prima parte delle prove libere, Esteve Rabat (Tuenti HP 40) continua ad eccellere anche durante le FP2 firmando un primo posto con 1.33″254. A seguire Scott Redding (Marc VDS Racing Team), che non riesce a migliorare il suo buon secondo tempo. Terza posizione per Pol Espargarò (Tuenti HP 40).
Jordi Torres (Mapfre Aspar Team Moto2) quarto, quinto Dominique Aegerter (Technomag Car Xpert).
Chiude sesto Sandro Cortese (Dynavolt Intact GP), alle sue spalle ritroviamo Alex De Angelis (NG Mobile Forward Racing). Dodicesimo Mattia Pasini (NG Mobile Racing), non bene Simone Corsi (NG Mobile Racing) che come nella prima parte delle prove rimane in disparte.
Ottavo Johann Zarco (Came lodaRacing Project) seguito a ruota da Xaver Simeon (Maptaq SAG Zelos Team), Takaaki Nakagami (Italtrans Racing Team)e infine Mika Kallio (Marc VDS Racing Team).
